Angad Singh Baweja is a student at the United World College of South East Asia, East Campus where he studies Physics, Math, Chemistry, Spanish, English, and Economics as part of the IBDP curriculum. Angad is deeply driven by his passion for STEM, particularly engineering, and is committed to understanding the interdisciplinary concepts underlying science.
To this end, he has participated in the UWCSEA Science Fair with a research paper on quantum locking and is currently authoring a mentored research paper examining movements of a double pendulum through Newtonian mechanics and Lagrange equations. He has also participated in The Junior Academy of the New York Academy of Sciences, working on the ‘Minerals of Technology’ challenge, and has previously undertaken an internship with AeroInspection where he studied in-depth the maintenance and design theory principles in the context of aerospace engineering.
In addition to founding ‘eVentures’, he is also the Chair of Technology Investment for his school club ‘Coding for Good’ that focuses on utilizing digital technologies to solve complex environmental problems. Supplementing this, he is also completing the 'Mathematics of Data Science' credit-bearing course offered as part of JHU Summer Term. Apart from his academic inclinations, Angad is also a skilled drummer and tennis player.
